BRI Presenter Events
The BRI invites Discover Brigham poster presenters to two workshops to assist in their preparation for Discover Brigham 2019.
On Wednesday, September 11th, from 12 pm – 1 pm in Zinner Boardroom, you can attend “Best Practices in Poster Design.” Join Dr. Cheryl Vaughan for one hour of high-impact, practical knowledge on how to make the best design “moves” to tell your scientific story on the interactive platform of an e-poster.
On Monday, September 16th from 12 pm – 1 pm in Carrie Hall, you can attend “Tips & Tricks for Presenting Your Research.” Join the Brigham Research Institute, Development Office, and the Office of Strategic Communication to learn some helpful tips and tricks for navigating what to say and how to say it on the big day.

2019 Discover Brigham Poster session, which will take place from 11:15 AM – 12:50 PM on Thursday, November 7th, 2019.
Please bring your file on a flash drive and laptop with your presentation. Advance upload (see upload instructions below) is available till 5:00 PM on November 4th. You can upload here. Onsite upload will be from 9:00 – 10:00 AM on November 7th. Arrive early to upload to ensure you are able to present on-time.
ePosterBoards HelpDesks (Nov 7 at 9:00 AM) are in the following locations: Cabot Atrium (45 Francis Lobby), Mezzanine (near BWH Gift Shop), and Hale Cafe Atrium (Hale, 1st Floor).
If you are contacted by the media about your research, contact the Brigham Office of Strategic Communication (OSC) or refer the media directly to the department before responding. Contact OSC at 617-525-6370 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays. Outside of these hours or in any emergency situation, contact us through the hospital’s 24-hour paging service at 617-732-6660, and ask for the media relations person on call.
