Grant Writing Course: The Art & Anatomy of Writing a Career Development (K) Grant

December 5, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Course Directors: Gail Adler, MD, PhD (BWH) and Lise Nigrovic, MD, MPH (BCH)

The Brigham Research Education Program and the Boston Children’s Hospital Institutional Centers for Clinical & Translational Research (ICCTR) invite you to participate in this course for novice grant writers.

This course is designed for faculty, fellows, and other novice grant writers who are applying for career development (K grant) funding. The course will provide an overview and resources for your grant submission.

For this year’s course, participants should view the pre-recorded presentations (below) before attending the live portion on Dec 5.

The live session on December 5 will kick off with a short introductory presentation (“What Are K’s and Which One is Right for You?” by Dr. Ellen Seely) followed by an open Q&A/discussion with experts from across our systems. There will also be smaller breakout groups, providing a chance to speak with recent K awardees.

The open Q&A/discussion format is a great opportunity to interact with experienced investigators to get your pressing questions answered, and it will also provide a chance to interact with other K applicants across our institutions.

Register here by Dec 1.
