EXPLORER: The First Total Body PET Scanner, Projected Applications in Clinical Science and Healthcare
Speaker: Terry Jones DSc, FPEM, FMedSci, MD (hc)
A pioneer of brain functional imaging, Dr. Jones has been involved in the development of the clinical research applications of cyclotron produced, positron emitting radio nuclides for nearly five decades.  Since 2015, he has served as a consultant for the NIH funded program to build the World’s first Total Body PET Scanner, and the undertaking of early proof of concept human application studies at the University of California, Davis.

Direction to the Zinner Boardroom (70 Francis Street): The Zinner Boardroom is located in the Carl J. and Ruth Shapiro Cardiovascular Center across the street from the 75 Francis Street entrance of the hospital. Upon entering the building at the street level, walk straight towards the escalator, keeping to the left side of the building. The Conference Center is located on your right; the Boardroom is through the large doors on the back wall.
