]The MMS and its Committee on Women in Medicine in collaboration with the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) Mary Horrigan Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology present the Women’s Health Forum on April 21. This year’s program, “Hormones: Do They Define Us?” features a lecture and panel on transgender health, sessions on the effects of hormones on autoimmune diseases, CVD, metabolism/weight regulation, brain and mood, and a discussion on the evolution of breast surgery by faculty from the BWH and MGH.
Also planned are networking opportunities and award presentations to Barbara L. Smith, M.D., Robert H. Young, M.D., Fatima Cody Stanford, M.D., and JoAnn E. Manson, M.D.
