Born in Sevilla, Spain, Lucía loves to travel and connect with people around the globe. For her, the scientific community has always provided en exciting environment to learn, collaborate and push the boundaries of innovation to make this world a better place. Now on her third year as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Lucía is developing new cell-based therapies to treat metastatic tumor growth in the brain. She is applying her expertise in Immuno-Oncology at the Center for Stem Cell and Translational Immunotherapy, led by Dr. Khalid Shah.
