Resources for Grant Writing
The first thing you should do when you have identified a funding opportunity and are preparing to write a grant application is to connect with your department’s grant administration team. They will be able to guide you through all the internal deadlines and requirements that need to be met. There are a lot of moving pieces to grant submission, but your admin team will know the most current procedures and they are there to help you so that you can focus on the science writing. If you are a postdoc submitting a grant for the first time, your PI should help you identify the right contacts for your department.
