Rolling Applications
Up to $10,000 funding and limited BRI staffing to support collaborative research activities (e.g. talks/symposia, workshops, poster sessions, networking events) put forward by interdisciplinary groups within the BWH research community.
Nominations due March 3, 2025
$100,000 per year for three years for up to three Assistant or Associate Professors who have made outstanding contributions to their chosen field of research and have exceptional potential. Department chairs may nominate up to three candidates.

Shark Tank style competition for $50,000 non-renewable grants to fund innovative and high-risk/high-impact projects with the potential to impact biomedical research, healthcare delivery, generation of new companies/products/services, cost savings, care quality, and provider burnout.

$500 to $1,000 awards towards travel expenditures for BWH postdocs attending conferences. Awards will be administered biannually in the Fall (October) and Spring (April).
Due June 3, 2024
Up to $50,000 direct costs to support obtaining preliminary data for basic, clinical, or translational projects that will be used to apply for new funding (with a minimum projected 10x return on investment from the requested amount).

$500-$1,000 cash awards recognizing postdoctoral fellows’ efforts in mentoring fellow postdocs, students or interns on research projects and/or career development.

Two awards of $1,000. Research Assistants/Technicians and Clinical Research Coordinators (or similar) at the Brigham are eligible to apply. Does not include postdoctoral fellows.
Rolling application.
Small awards, typically $500 – $1,500, to support junior investigators pursuing a new scientific project, training, or collaboration not otherwise funded in their labs. Up to $2,500 available for URiM, women, health equity projects, and collaborations.
