Amount: $500 - $1000
- Fall Fellowships: If you are traveling between May 8, 2023 and April 30, 2024, the application deadline is October 19, 2023. Award notification by November 30, 2023.
- Spring Fellowships: If you are traveling between March 1, 2024 and September 30, 2024, the application deadline is April 15, 2024. Award notification by May 31, 2024.
BWH Postdoctoral Leadership Council (PLC) is happy to announce the availability of funds to support travel for BWH postdocs attending conferences. These awards will be administered biannually in the Fall and in the Spring. Awards will range from $500 – $1000, depending on the number of applications and the availability of funds. Funds may be applied to travel expenditures including transportation, accommodation, and registration fees.
Requirements
To receive support, a fellow must:
1. Be the first and presenting author on an invited or original peer-reviewed abstract, accepted for either an oral or poster presentation
2. Have their primary appointment at Brigham and Women’s Hospital as a full-time Research Fellow (A valid BWH email address is required.)
The following limitations apply:
1. Each postdoc is eligible once per academic year
2. Only one postdoc from each lab may receive the award per academic year

*Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Proof of spending must be submitted to BWHPDA@partners.org, before receipt of funds. A valid BWH email address is required.
