Amount: $500 - $1000
- Spring Fellowships: If you are traveling between March 1st, 2025, and July 31st, 2025, the application window is open from now till March 7th, and winners will be notified by the end of March 2025.
- Summer Fellowships: If you are traveling between July 1st, 2025, and November 30th, 2025, the application will open in June.
- Winter Fellowships: If you are traveling between November 1st, 2025, and March 31st , 2026, the application will open in October.
The BWH Postdoctoral Leadership Council (PLC) is happy to announce the availability of funds to support travel for BWH postdocs attending conferences. These awards will be administered in three cycles: fall, spring, and summer. Awards will range from $500 – $1000, depending on the number of applications and the availability of funds. Funds may be applied to travel expenditures including transportation, accommodation, and registration fees.
Requirements
To receive support, a fellow must:
1. Be the first and presenting author on an invited or original peer-reviewed abstract, accepted for either an oral or poster presentation. (If you have not yet been formally accepted to your conference, upload a PDF of your abstract submission confirmation. If you are selected as an awardee, you will be asked to submit proof of conference acceptance.)
2. Have their primary appointment at Brigham and Women’s Hospital as a full-time Research Fellow (A valid BWH email address is required.)
The following limitations apply:
1. Each postdoc is eligible once per academic year
2. Only one postdoc from each lab may receive the award per academic year
Program Specifics
