Biography

Dr. Bharti Khurana is an associate professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School, an emergency radiologist at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the founding director of the Trauma Imaging Research and Innovation Center (TIRIC). She is a fellow of the American College of Radiology and the American Society of Emergency Radiology. She is a scholar of the prestigious Diagnostic Excellence Program at the National Academy of Medicine. Dr. Khurana has been honored as the Most Distinguished Physician of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), the American College of Radiology (ACR) Innovation Award, and the three-time recipient of the Distinguished Honored Educator Award by the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). Dr. Khurana graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, India, and did her residency in diagnostic radiology and fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
