Biography

Kevin is currently a Pharmacy Manager in Investigational Drug Services at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2011 with Doctorate in Pharmacy and has been part of the Pharmacy Department at BWH since 2008. In that time, he has filled a number of roles within the department as both a pharmacist and pharmacy intern.

Kevin has been part of BWH Investigational Drug Service team since 2011 and collaborates closely with several research groups throughout the institution to conceptualize and operationalize investigational drug clinical trials at BWH. He was the subject matter expert for BWH in transitioning clinical trial medication documentation from paper orders to Epic Systems’ electronic health record. As an active member of the Mass General Brigham Human Research Committee Institutional Review Board and other enterprise, institutional and pharmacy committees, Kevin is tasked with improving investigational workflows and meeting hospital-wide patient care initiatives at BWH and other sites affiliated with Mass General Brigham. His professional interests include pharmacy informatics, regulatory compliance in dispensing investigational products and general pharmaceutical compounding, and he enjoys precepting pharmacy students and residents. Kevin has volunteered and worked as a clinical operations and regulatory affairs consultant at Harvard School of Public Health, Joslin Diabetes Center, Abbott Laboratories and PROMETRIKA LLC helping to design and maintain clinical trial protocols, dosage forms and operations.
