We are planning on holding our Research Connection LIVE series hybrid via Zoom & Carrie Hall. This event is open to the Mass General Brigham (MGB) community.
Topic: Town Hall with the Brigham Research Institute (BRI) Director
Speakers: Dr. Kathryn Rexrode, Brigham Research Institute (BRI) Director
Please join Kathryn Rexrode, MD, BRI director, at the upcoming Research Connection LIVE. Dr. Rexrode will open the town hall-style meeting with a brief overview of the BRI and share a summary of the 2022 BWH research community needs assessment survey results and then open up the meeting for discussion. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and/or provide input on how the BRI and other entities that support the BWH Research community can work to meet the BWH research community’s needs. Lunch will be provided to those who attend in person. Please register in advance.
Directions to Carrie Hall (15 Francis Street, Peter Bent Building, Boston, MA 0211):
Via 15 Francis Street
• Upon entering the Hospital and the vestibule area, you will notice a Guard Desk and a hallway on your left and right. Go right, down the hallway until you come to a conference room which is Carrie Hall
The BRI is going bottled-water free! As it has been stated “more than 17 million barrels of oil are required to produce enough plastic water bottles to meet America’s annual demand for bottled water” and every year, 11 million metric tons of plastics enter our ocean. We hope as an institution and department to become more environmentally friendly. We encourage other departments to do the same! Please don’t forget to bring your filled reusable water bottles to all of our BRI events.
