Best Practices in Poster Design

Getting ready to design your next poster presentation? Join Dr. Cheryl Vaughan for one hour of high-impact, practical knowledge on how to make the best design “moves” to tell your scientific story on the interactive platform of an e-poster. Topics covered in this session include visual accessibility, the use of color, content flow and graphic cues, basic principles of data visualization, and how to convert a traditional poster to an effective e-poster.

Direction to the Zinner Boardroom (1st Floor, 70 Francis Street):
The Zinner Boardroom is located in the Carl J. and Ruth Shapiro Cardiovascular Center across the street from the 75 Francis Street entrance of the hospital. Upon entering the building at the street level, walk straight towards the escalator, keeping to the left side of the building. The Conference Center is located on your right; the Boardroom is through the large doors on the back wall.
