Please join us Monday, 4/29, from 4:00 – 5:00 PM in the VTC 200b conference room (2nd floor, Hale building, 60 Fenwood Road) for an information session on H-1B visas. The H-1B visa is a nonimmigrant work visa that allows U.S. employers to hire foreign workers with specialized skills to work in the United States for a specific period of time. Stop by for information on the visa process and to ask your own questions. Light snacks will be provided.

This is the second session in the immigration info series organized by the PLC Advocacy Committee with the Office for Global Professionals and Scholars (GPS). We hope to hold more such sessions to keep the postdocs informed on immigration-related issues!

Please be mindful that this is a public event, so sensitive or very detailed/specific questions may not be able to be answered here. Reach out to GPS at visas@mgb.org for specific help regarding your immigration status.

The event is open to all, but you can register here to submit your queries.

A Zoom link will be provided post-registration for those who wish to attend via Zoom.
