Associate Professor, Radiology
Musculoskeletal conditions present a significant challenge to quality of life and are recognized as a globally ubiquitous healthcare burden especially among aging populations.
The mission of the BRI Musculoskeletal Research Center is to enhance cross-collaborative research that focuses on bones, joints, muscles and the disorders that affect them.
The Center facilitates progress of complex clinical, translational and basic research questions at a rate that would be unfeasible for an individual group or department by serving as a platform to bring together outstanding researchers and health professionals from a variety of disciplines, provide opportunities to collaborate and exchange ideas, and facilitate sharing a wide array of research tools.
